I canadesi sono reduci da ‘In The Future’ del 2008 e soprattutto dagli impegni paralleli Pink Mountaintops e Lightning Dust . L’uscita dell’album è prevista per l’estate via Jagjaguwar. Prodotto da Dave Sardy è stato registrato ai leggendari studi di Los Angeles Sunset Sound. Stephen McBean spiega: “I’d say this record is maybe more vocally-focused than riff-focused. I think this one’s probably going to be ten songs, standard one record. Prince made his landmark Purple Rain and 1999 at Sunset Sound. Actually, my little guitar room was his bedroom, so that was nice to relax in. There’s a basketball court that they built for Prince” . Quindi sono volati a Seattle da Randall Dunn produttore dei Sunn O))) ai London Bridge Studio. La band è attesa a luglio al T In The Park e a settembre all’End Of The Road Festival.
