Il “Dirty Dirt Worldwide Tour” che partirà a fine luglio e il nuovo album che uscirà entro la fine dell’anno. Peter Murphy è più attivo che mai, reduce dalla proficua collaborazione con Trent Reznor , sembra vivere una seconda giovinezza. Mancava dal grande schermo dal 1983 quando Tony Scott lo volle per aprire il film “The Hunger” (”Miriam si Svegli a Mezzanotte” con David Bowie e Catherine Deneuve) interpretando ‘Bela Lugosi’s Dead’. Sul fronte discografico il nuovo lavoro si intitola ‘Ninth’, prodotto da David Baron, arriverà sei anni dopo ‘Unshattered’. Murphy, che vive tra New York ed Istanbul, ha dichiarato a riguardo: “I have had my Ninth album ready to go for a while now. I’ve been playing it live, alongside Bauhaus classics and my own hits, long before the official release and it’s added more stardust to the long shelf life of songs I have under my belt” .
