Muore a 47 anni Jani Lane (all’anagrafe John Kennedy Oswald, nato ad Akron nell’Ohio), cantante degli sleazy rocker Warrant che forma nel 1986. L’hair metal della band americana ha il suo massimo apice tra il 1988 ed il 1990, poi tra alterne fortune e un paio di abbandoni, Lane rimarrà nella band fino al 2008. “While a cause of death has yet to be determined, the L.A. Times reports that alcohol and prescription drugs were found in the room when police discovered the body around 5:30 p.m. local time. Los Angeles County Coroner’s deputy chief Ed Winter explained that Lane was “discovered unresponsive” and shortly thereafter pronounced dead by paramedics”.
