Incredibile ed imperdibile! Un’operazione di recupero a cinque stelle. I primi singoli in 7″ (dunque in vinile) dei seminali Velvet Underground vengono finalmente racchiusi in un box da collezione. Ci pensa la Sundazed Music con la pubblicazione di ‘The Velvet Underground Singles 1966–69′. I singoli sono riprodotti fedelmente come in originale, confezionati in una “fancy” box, che include foto rarissime e note scritte dal giornalista, e fan di lungo corso della band, David Fricke. I dischi sono missati in mono per conservare l’appeal vintage. Fricke spiega: “ The Velvet Underground were a great singles band… invented modern rock with searing guitar distortion, throbbing improvisation and brutally realistic tales of life on the wild side. But they did it all in these classic pop songs — compact miracles of raw drive, intimate beauty and Top 40 ecstasy, heard again in the original, thrilling mono single mixes”.
