Bill DOSS - R.I.P.

Per cause ancora da stabilire è morto il 30 luglio alle’tà di 43 anni Bill Doss , cuore pulsante della band americana con cui aveva diviso una splendida avventura fino al 2000 giorno dello split e riattivatasi solo recentemente. Co-fondatore della Elephant 6 Recording Company aveva quindi inciso come The Sunshine Fix (anche prima di far parte degli OTC), fino a diventare membro degli Apples In Stereo . Sul sito ufficiale degli Olivia Tremor Control così è stata accolta la notizia: “We are devastated by the loss of our brother Bill Doss. We are at a loss for words”. Cullen Hart (uno dei fondatori assieme a Doss e Jeff Magnum) lo scorso anno aveva dichiarato riguardo il nuovo album degli OTC: “ We’ve got two songs for the next Olivia record, in my opinion. They’re on Bill’s hard drive… We’re working toward something. I’m not sure that we know, even” .

Dolore, desolazione, rabbia. Visto dal vivo esattamente 60 gg fa al Primavera (http://uploaded.to/file/2v8drlxf per le due o tre persone interessate) e stava benone, speravo in un ritorno anche discografico…puff. R.I.P.
